BATTERY & AC MOTORS
When it comes to blinds motorisation, AC Mains motors offer several benefits, such as no need for regular charging, the ability to drive larger blinds, and quieter operation compared to battery motors. However, they require a power supply, which can be costly and inconvenient, as it involves concealing a cable from the blind to the plug.
On the other hand, battery motors are quick and easy to implement, with no need for construction or an electrician. They don’t require the concealment of wires, offering a more straightforward installation process. However, batteries will need to be recharged approximately once a year, and recharging can take around six hours. Despite this, their flexibility and ease of installation make them ideal for situations where a power source is not easily accessible.
CONTROL OPTIONS:
Blinds motorisation also offers several control options, each suited to different needs. Hand-held remotes offer simplicity and convenience, allowing users to adjust blinds from anywhere within a certain range.
